The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift has been launched in India. Its starting price is Rs 5.45 lakh for base petrol variant and Rs 8.77 lakh for top petrol AMT variants. At the same time, the price of the base diesel variants starting from 6.60 lakhs and up to 8.60 lakhs for top diesel variants has been kept up. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi prices. Maruti's Baleno is one of the best selling premium hatchbacks in India and it's the first time in four years that Maruti has given an update in this car. Let us tell you that the initial price of the old Baleno petrol variant was Rs 5.38 lakh and the initial price of diesel variants was 6.51 lakh rupees (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Since it is a facelift version, there will be no more change in comparison to the old model. As the official picture is clear, the front look in Baleno facelift has been made more aggressive than ever before. Here is the new front bumper, 3D design for the grill and LED projector headlights with DRLs. The new dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheel is also given in the Baleno facelift.

Talking about the interior, Baleno Facelift has been dual tone black and blue interior color skim and the new 7.0-inch touchscreen is equipped with SmartPlay Studio Infotainment System. The company has prepared this SmartPlay Studio in collaboration with Harman. It was first given in the recently launched Wagon R. It has support for Android Auto, Apple Carplay Support, Voice Recognition Function, and In-Built Navigation. Also, this screen also works for reverse parking cameras. Now in all the variants of new Baleno Facility, there will be standard rear parking sensor, speed alert warning and seat belt reminder system. Also in the new Baleno Facelift, features such as ABS, Dual-Airbags, and ISOFIX Child Seat Mounts will also be available with EBD.

There is no mechanical change in this new car mechanically. The 2019 Maruti Suzuki Baleno has 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter diesel engine. In both engines, standard 5-speed manual gearboxes are available. CVT Automation is also available in petrol variants. This car's competition in the Indian market is exclusive with Hyundai i20.
