New Delhi: After long wait, the BJP List has released its first list of 182 candidates. Party General Secretary JP Nadda released a list of nearly 182 candidates by making a press conference at BJP headquarters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again contest from Varanasi and party president Amit Shah will contest from Gandhinagar, which is the traditional seat of LK Advani. Before that, the meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Central Election Committee (CEC) was held in which names of party candidates in different states were discussed for Lok Sabha elections.

The party has already announced the names of candidates for Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh assembly elections.
This time Lok Sabha elections will be held from April 11 to May 19 in seven phases and the counting of votes will be held on May 23. Voting in all seven phases will be held in Uttar Pradesh, Bengal and Bihar. Voting will take place on April 11 in the first phase, for which the last date for nomination is March 25.
