In place of Lungi Enigidi who has been out of the IPL for the entire season of IPL 2019, Chennai SuperKings has added New Zealand's Scott Kualjean to their team. South Africa's pacer got injured before the start of the season-12 and was out of the tournament.
The 27-year-old Kugalion has been included in the team of CSK as an all-rounder in his team. Kugellion has played two ODIs and four T20 matches for New Zealand. Three of the four T20 matches have been played against India by Kugalion.
CSK chief coach said, "After being away from Lungi Enigidi, we were looking for a player who could also contribute in batting with bowling. In Kualjean, he has the potential to prove to be useful for the team in both the departments.
However, due to personal reasons, it has not been announced to take any player from the place of David-Willy out of season 12.
England cricketer Willie, who played three matches from Chennai Super Kings in 2018, said, "Our second child is going to be there and my wife has a little problem, so I have to make sure she is completely cured. For this reason, I will not be able to play in this season of IPL. ''
