Good news: Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander is safe on the moon, no breakage

Big news has come about Chandrayaan-2. After losing contact with Vikram Lander of Chandrayaan-2, ISRO is constantly trying to somehow establish contact with the lander with Orbit. In this episode, ISRO has got a huge success and in the thermal image sent by Orbit, Vikram Lander Lunar is shown safe on the surface. According to ISRO, Vikram is safe and there is no breakage. However, ISRO is making every effort to reestablish communication with the lander. It is clear from the picture that even though the hard landing of the lander is being said, it is not broken. In the picture, Vikram Lander is seen as a whole.

Good news: Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander is safe on the moon, no breakage

An ISRO mission official claimed on Monday that it was clear from photographs sent by the on-board camera of the orbiter that the lander's hard landing has occurred where the landing was to take place. The lander appears as a single piece in the photo of the orbiter. The lander is not broken into pieces. It is in a tilted position on the lunar surface.

The official said that we are making every effort to see if the communication with the lander can be restored.

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief K Sivan said on Sunday that cameras in the Chandrayaan-2 orbiter detected the presence of the lander. A day before this, it had not been able to make a 'soft landing' on the lunar surface according to the ambitious moon mission plan.

Sivan said the lander may have 'made a hard landing and efforts are being made to establish contact with it.

Lele said, “The position of the lander module proves without any doubt that the orbiter is working perfectly. The orbiter was the main part of the mission as it has to work for more than a year. ”He said that 90 to 95 percent of the emission targets would be achieved if the orbiter worked properly.

    What ISRO Chief Said:

Indian Research Organization (ISRO) Chief K.K. Sivan had said about the loss of contact with the lander Vikram and the mission Chandrayaan-2 that all hopes are not over yet. Talking to DD News, ISRO Chief said that scientists will keep trying to contact him for the next fourteen days. While answering a question asked about any appearance of contacting the lander. Sivan said- "We will keep trying to get in touch, we will try to get in touch for the next 14 days." Speaking about the orbiter accompanying Chandrayaan, K Sivan said that the life of the orbiter was fixed for only one year. Was gone, but due to the extra fuel present in the orbiter, its age is now being extended to 7 years.

ISRO had issued a statement saying - 95 percent mission successful

Meanwhile, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), in its first statement, described India's Chandrayaan-2 as a difficult mission after a tremendous setback on Mission Chandrayaan 2 on Saturday. In addition, ISRO called it a "significant technological leap".

    What happened in the mission

India's bold move to make a soft landing on the lunar surface suffered a setback in the early hours of Saturday when the Chandrayaan-2 lander 'Vikram' lost contact at a mere 2.1 km above the lunar surface. According to the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), the lander 'Vikram was moving towards the south pole of the moon and was just a few seconds away from touching its surface when he lost contact with the ground when it was 2.1 km high. After this, frustration was definitely seen among the scientists of ISRO, but the whole country stood with them under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister said that he does not need to get frustrated with this. This Chandrayaan-2 mission was envisaged nearly a decade ago and India would have been the first country to land on the undiscovered south pole of the moon under this mission of 978 crores.
