'Made in China' Film Review - Rajkummar Rao And Boman Irani Raise Important Issues on Their Shoulders

Many films have appeared in the last few years on an important topic like Silence spread in society on sex and latent disease. This issue has been discussed openly in films like Shubh Mangal Savdhan, Khandani Shafakhana. In such a situation, the director Mikhail Musale has tried to bring this subject in a new style. "When we talk about cough, cold, fever and other diseases, then it is embarrassing to talk about sex-related diseases." Why?

When Dr. Vardhi (Boman Irani), who is sitting in front of the committee, communicates this question, it is not only for the characters of the film but also on the mindset of the audience. In our society, it is still considered inappropriate to talk about the word sex or related diseases. An attempt has been made to change the constricted ideology in the film Made in China. Director Mikhail Musale with a strong cast could have made this film quite strong. But the weak direction and poor screenplay make the film mediocre.

    Acting

Rajkumar Rao and Boman Irani carry the film entirely on their shoulders. Both these actors were seen giving their best in Bedam Kahani too. Rajkumar is very accurate in the character of Gujarati businessman Raghuveer Mehta. Gujarati accent, from the gradient to every emotion, he has put on the screen well. At the same time, the work of Boman Irani is also tremendous. Sexologist Doctor Wardhi-turned-Boman is an important part of this film and has played his character with full seriousness. Mouni Roy was not given much opportunity in the role of Rajkumar's wife. At the same time, as co-stars, Sumit Vyas, Gajraj Rao, Paresh Rawal, and Amaira Dastur have done justice to their characters.

    Guidance and technical aspects

The director, who won the National Award for his Gujarati film, has tried to present a serious and buried subject with entertainment. He had a strong star cast, a good theme, but still, the film failed to make an impact. In the first half of the film, the story goes so sloppy that even the subject starts to get bored. So, despite the content in the second half, the film fails to keep it tied. Directing, cinematography and dialogue, the film was weak in all departments. As Editor Manan Ashwin Mehta also did not seem to tie the story firmly. As a result, the film is quite scattered and many questions remain unheard of even after Climax. The music given by Sachin Jigar is also average.

    See or Not See

Rajkumar Rao is a fan and likes his acting, so it can be seen, but don't expect entertainment. If you want to watch a good movie with family on Diwali, then Made in China will not be the right choice for you. 2.5 stars to the film hdfilmywap48.
