Something similar is the film 'Satellite Shankar' directed by Irrfan Kamal. The film, starring Sooraj Pancholi, is wrapped in patriotic fervor and talks about the country's integrity in a lighthearted manner. It does not make you serious, there is no bombardment of bullets here.

    Story

The entire battalion calls Shankar (Suraj Pancholi) as 'satellite Shankar' because he can speak in many tongues and with his words spells such that two separated hearts are merged. He is courageous, bold and helpful. One day he gets injured while fighting the enemy in Kashmir and for a few days he is allowed to go home to meet his mother. But it is also promised that he will come back after exactly 8 days. The rest of the battalion's soldiers also give a few things to Shankar for his loved ones, so that he gets it to his house on the way home. Shankar leaves from Kashmir to go to his house at Pollachi. But the path of this army is not easy. On the military front, they always stand for the protection of the country. He is the real hero of the country. But the director has tried to show a soldier who is also a heroin everyday life. How important is the country and every countryman? Shankar tries to reach his home on a certain day, fighting from the situation of army houses and fighting corruption in the country. Due to his commitment to the promise, he has to somehow arrive in the battalion on a ninth day. Will Shankar, who gets everyone out of trouble, be able to meet his old mother? Guidance and technical aspects

The screenplay of the film arouses a lot of interest in some parts but gets bored somewhere. This film is about Shankar's journey, beginning with the same, ending at the same. In such a situation, the journey of 8 days sometimes takes so long that you break from the story. Irrfan Kamal's direction is weak. The first half moves very slowly and without any romance, but the interest in the story starts after the interval. A cute love story of a hero, Suraj Pancholi and Megha Akash fighting with goons, looks good. It is nice to see different cities, different people, languages. At the same time, the cinematography of Jiten Harmeet Singh has been screened. Talking about the music given by Mithun, Tanishq Bagchi, and Sandeep Shirodkar... In the film, only Jai Hee and Aari Aari attract attention.

    Acting

In the character of Shankar, Suraj Pancholi got a chance to show his acting ability. But did they take advantage of this opportunity? No .. Sooraj has been seen in the entire film just giving 4-5 howls. The director has given him dialogues full of comedy, emotion, action as well as patriotism, but he has not been able to make those scenes impressive. However, there is a lot of energy in them and they also appear on the screen. Megha Akash and Paulomi Ghosh have done full justice to their characters.

    Dekhe or na dikhe

films on patriotism and military are always serious, it is not necessary. The Irrfan Kamal-directed film Satellite Shankar is a light-hearted film wrapped in the patriotic spirit. 2.5 stars to Satellite Shankar from hdfilmywap.
