Team India's stylist batsman Lokesh Rahul is celebrating his 28th birthday. Rahul was born on 18 April 1992 in Mangalore. Rahul's cricketing career has been full of ups and downs. Rahul made his Test debut in 2014, but after that he had to wait nearly two years to play the first ODI International and T20 International matches. The right-handed batsman has also played the role of wicket keeper batsman for India in limited overs cricket in recent times. Rahul has also impressed with his batting as well as wicket keeping skills.
Rahul is also seen as an alternative to Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the coming times. There is an anecdote about Dhoni and his, which is probably known by very few people. Rahul played his first Test match in Australia in 2014. Rahul was handed the test cap by the then captain Dhoni. It is a coincidence that it was also Dhoni's last Test match. Rahul was dismissed by scoring 3 runs in the first innings and just 1 in the second innings.

Rahul is the only batsman to score a century as an opener in both the debut test and debut ODI International. After the debut test in Australia, he played his second Test match as an opener and scored 110 runs. He made his innings debut in the ODI debut against Zimbabwe in 2016 and scored 100 not out.
Rahul is the only Indian cricketer to score a century in his debut ODI international match.
In the Indian Premier League (IPL), the fastest Pachasa Rahul has been named, he was fiftee off 14 balls.
Rahul has hit a century for India in Tests, One-Day Internationals and T20 Internationals in all three formats. He is just the third Indian batsman to do so. Suresh Raina and Rohit Sharma are the other two cricketers who have done this feat.

KL Rahul had scored a century in all three formats in 20 innings, he is the first batsman in the world to do so in the lowest innings, he broke the record of Ahmed Shahzad of Pakistan in this case. Ahmad Shehzad did so in 76 innings.
