    Lockdown 2.0: Ministry of Home Affairs released guidelines, exemption in agriculture related work

    According to the Home Ministry guidelines, neither the plane will run nor the metro or bus. Work-related to agriculture has been exempted. Along with this, instructions have been given to be strict in the hotspot area.

    A guideline has been released today by the Ministry of Home Affairs regarding Lockdown Part-2.0 According to this guideline, neither the plane will run nor the metro or bus. Those already exempted will continue. Apart from this, concession has also been given for agriculture-related works. Also, Corona Warriors have been allowed to travel on trains or buses.

    In the guideline sent by the Ministry of Home Affairs to the Chief Secretary and Administrative Officers, it has been said that concession will be given for agriculture-related work. Work will be done under MNREGA. At the same time, the ban on industrial activities will continue. All types of transport services will be banned. It will be mandatory to wear masks in public places.


    What will be closed?


    All domestic or international flights, trains (for passenger movement), all educational-training-coaching centers, industrial and commercial activity, hotels, taxis, auto-rickshaws, cycle rickshaws, cinema halls, shopping complexes, gyms, sports complexes, swimming pool, bar, theater, any event, all religious places will remain closed. Apart from this, no more than 20 people will be allowed to attend any funeral.

    Who got the concession?


    Production of essential goods and medicines will continue. Industrial production will continue in SEZ. Apart from this, trucks have been allowed to travel with certain conditions. Industrial activities will continue in rural areas. Essential services including cable TV, DTH, the telephone will continue. Electricity mechanic, plumber, carpenter have been allowed.

    Apart from this, permission for commuting for essential services, all hospitals, clinics including Ayush will remain open. All mandis operated by APMC will open. Petrol pumps will open. Courier services have been allowed to operate. All concessions will be available only after April 20.

    Concession in agriculture-related work


    Central government has given permission to agriculture-related works while giving relief to the farmers. Farmers have been given permission to reap and sow their crops. Also, agencies have been allowed to buy the produce of farmers. Fisheries related activities have been allowed.

    MNREGA and construction work allowed


    The Center has directed to continue the works under MNREGA. There has been an appeal to maintain social distancing. With this, concession has also been given in the construction work being done by the state government.

    No concession in a hotspot area


    No concession will be granted in the hotspot area of Corona. Guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health will be followed in these areas. Also, no one will be allowed to exit. Home delivery of essential goods will be done. There will be a movement of the personnel and medical staff engaged in the security of the area.

    Concession will be given conditionally after April 20


    In areas where corona cases will not come, they can get a concession. It will be reviewed by April 20. After this review, a small concession will be given in some areas. Before giving concession, all measures will be taken by the state government and district administration to follow the guideline, so that social distancing is followed in the office, workplace, factory or institutions.
