#Lockdownextention Center on recommendation of increasing lockdown of states serious, possibility strong
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today spoke to the Chief Ministers of various states through video conferencing on the corona epidemic and the ongoing lockdown.
Most states asked the Prime Minister to extend the lockdown period for at least the next two weeks so that the risk of infection with this coronavirus is reduced. After this, the news agency ANI has quoted from the sources of the central government that the central government is seriously considering the recommendation of the states to increase the lockdown for two weeks.

At the same time, Prime Minister Modi has said in the video conferencing that if there is a life, then when we gave a message to the nation, in the beginning, it was emphasized that to save the lives of every citizen, it is very important to follow the lockdown and social distancing. Most of the people of the country understood this matter and fulfilled their responsibility by staying in homes.
The Prime Minister said that for the bright future of India, prosperous and healthy India also needs life, attention on both aspects is necessary. When every person of the country will fulfill his obligations by taking care of both life and the world, he will follow the guidelines of the government and administration.
Karnataka Chief Minister BS Siddaramaiah said that the Prime Minister told us that we should not compromise on the lockdown. He said that we found it advisable to extend it by 15 days. The Prime Minister has said that the government will issue a guideline for the next 15 days in a day or two.

At the same time, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel sought permission from the Prime Minister for economic activities across the state's border. He also said that the Inter-State Road should be closed and the rail and air route should be closed because of Covid 19.
