Why was the CLAT 2020 exam postponed?

The Executive Committee of the Consortium of National Law University held a meeting on August 27 in various states to review the status of coronavirus thriving and review precautionary measures regarding Kovid-19. During the meeting, the Executive Committee has decided to hold the CLAT 2020 exam on 28 September instead of 7 September in view of the lockdown caused by Coronavirus in various states.

What is a CLAT?

Common law admission test is a national level entrance exam. In November 2019, the Consortium of National Law University announced a change in the CLAT exam and the pattern of questions. The candidates taking the exam will now have to take 150 questions instead of 200.
