In their second match of the 12th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL-2019), today (27th March) Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab will face face-to-face. Punjab captain Ravichandran Ashwin will want to retain the 'Mankanding controversy' in his first match and win the title of victory on the Eden Gardens field.

The visiting team defeated Rajasthan Royals by 14 runs in a dramatic fashion at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Monday. Ashwin would like to keep this controversy behind and continue the victory over Kolkata. Both teams have won their first match, in such a situation, the competition is expected to be exciting.

Two-time champion Kolkata defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets in their opening match.
