Yamaha launches bike MT-15, know its price

Yamaha Motors launched its new 155cc motorcycle MT-15 on Friday. Its price in the showroom in Delhi is 1.36 lakh rupees. Yamaha has provided six-speed transmission and ABS with a four-stroke liquid cooled engine.

Motofumi Shitara, chairman of Yamaha Motor India Group, told reporters that new trends have been revealed in India for motorcycle driving, including both speed and control. In such a way the admission of MT-15 is mandatory. The company is selling MT-09 in India from 2015.

Ravinder Singh, Senior Vice President (Strategy and Planning) of India Yamaha Motor said that this year is aiming to sell around 60,000 motorcycles in the MT series. He said that the company would consider bringing the MT-03 model on the basis of market demand.
