Given the danger of cyclonic storm Feni in Odisha, the team of Delhi doctors is being prepared. The Union Health Ministry has decided to appoint doctors from four major hospitals of the Central Government in the capital, Delhi. These doctors will serve the people in the affected areas.
According to the doctors of the hospital, different teams of doctors from AIIMS, Safdarjung, RML and Lady Hardinge Medical College have been formed and asked to go to the influential states of Feni. Doctors have started collecting the necessary medical supplies, medicines, equipment on Friday. Since receiving the order of the Union Health Ministry, the management of four hospitals has been asked to report to senior resident doctors and be ready to be saved from Feni. All the doctors have become active after receiving the high alert message.
More risk of infection infections
A senior resident of Lady Hardinge Medical College said on condition of anonymity that at the moment, only those doctors have been asked to stay posted, who are experts in treating the injured in diseases and accidents at the time of the disaster. He said that the number of doctors from Arthur Surgeon to Community Medicines and Emergency Medicine is likely to be high. They said that the risk of transmitting infection is high during such calamities. Keeping that in mind, preparations are being done.
A control room in building a building
According to a senior doctor of Safdarjung Hospital, a control room is being prepared to monitor the situation in the construction building of Delhi. Through this, doctors will be asked to work on the basis of reports from different affected districts of Orissa.
IEEE will help restore power supply
Indian Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEMA), the organization of power equipment maker, said on Friday that it will help restore power supply in storm-affected areas in Odisha. The members of the association said in the statement that they are committed to restoring power supply and electrical infrastructure on a primary basis.
